If you find this checklist useful, please consider buying me a coffee https://ko-fi.com/jonbeckett Jonathan Beckett https://www.youtube.com/c/JonathanBeckett https://jonbeckett.online Preflight ELEC PWR Section (overhead - 2nd column, middle) ● ● BAT 1, 2 and 3 to ON (denoted by lines through them) EXT PWR to ON (if available) APU Section (eyebrow panel - 3rd column, 2nd from bottom) ● ● APU MASTER SW to ON APU START to ON IRS Section (overhead back - top of 1st, 3rd and 5th columns) ● ● IRS switches to NAV (“ALIGN MODE” is illuminated) DYSP SEL to HDG/STS (1st column) MCDU/FMC ● ● ● ● ● Clear any warning messages INIT to set route (ensure both pages filled) ALIGN IRS (only appears if all 3 IRS switches are set to ALIGN and route is set) ○ Countdown shows on HDG/STS overhead (unless set to instant) Use tablet “PERFORMANCE” app to get/set performance data ○ Press SYNC to get data from MCDU ○ Press CALCULATE to calculate performance data Note - when selecting departure and arrival procedures, use INSERT (left side), not RETURN to confirm each part of the flightplan.
