Hosting B. Ed Intermediate Phase students for teaching practice observation
STADIO, Faculty of Education is dedicated to ensuring students become competent and committed facilitators of
holistic education. This is achieved by providing theoretical education, integrated with practical experience and
training.
Our third year Intermediate Phase student teachers are required to engage in 15 days of observation in any grade in
the Intermediate Phase for their Special Education Experience as part of the accredited Teaching Practice module.
It is for this reason that we approach you to consider hosting a 3rd year Intermediate Phase student for observation
during the weeks indicated below, either in a Special Education School or a Special Unit within a Senior Primary
School. This period of observation and experience of learners in special schools is invaluable to the students’
development and preparation as future teachers.
