1. Examine the items that are contained in the above rating scales. Suppose you were asked to
respond to the questionnaire.
a. What does your teacher want to assess about you in Exhibits A-C?
ANSWER : Regarding on the Exhibits A-C , I think the teachers wants to assess learners
regarding on the attitude and behavior of every learners to a reading and learning .The teacher
conduct a surveys ,interviews or questionnaire to the learners to have an idea and create a
appropriate teaching strategies on how to assess the students and motivate them in reading
and learning mathematics .Also ,the teacher wants to develop the attitude and perspective of
every learners in learning to a interactive and enjoyable activity .Through the responses of
every students ,the teachers thinks of the best way teaching method to become interested and
motivate the learners when it comes to learning and reading .
b. What different behaviors were included in assessing your attitude about reading? About
learning of mathematics?
ANSWER : Base on the Exhibits A about reading the different behaviors and attitudes
I’ve notice are some negative and positive behavior and attitudes of the learners on the
reading .The survey or questionnaire assessing the learners base on the personal
experience in reading like time spent reading voluntarily ,engagement and participation
in reading activities ,and improving reading comprehension and fluency .About
mathematics assessing to the behavior and attitudes are participation and effort in math

lesson or problem solving ,in behaviors like help seeking and perseverance on
challenging and problems and surveys about feelings and beliefs about math .
c. What behaviors were included in assessing your confidence in reading?
ANSWER :
The behaviors included to assess my confidence in reading is I would be happy if someone
give me a reading book to motivate myself in reading and to enjoy what I’ve read
.Sometimes reading for me is boring and too difficult specially when I’m not interested to
read it ,to assess my confidence in reading , I read a book with other people to express and
share the opinion or experiences .I read a book for fun and also for exploring a new words .
2. Consider yourself as a teacher. Give three (3) examples of specific interview questions you
can ask your students about the traits being assessed in any of the above sample rating scales.

Open Ended Questions
As a teacher to engage my students in reading and to assessed them. I will relate the
questions base on their habits, interest and engagement level of reading . Here ‘s the 3
specific interview Questions that I want to ask to my students.
1. What types of books or genres do you enjoy reading the most ?( Fantasy ,horror,scifictions ,fairytale , fables ,novel ,) Can you tell me about a book .Can you tell me About a
book you’ve recently read ?
2. Can you describe Your typical reading routine or habits ? ( Do you read for a certain
amount of time each day or do you tend to read in short through out the day ? )
3. Do you enjoy to read a books ? ( Yes or No )
