1- Assess and describe the benefits of high-quality information on an organization. High quality information helps to make better decisions, to target audiences, and to improve content. *Better Decision-Making When a business uses high quality data to make business decisions, it is beneficial to the entire company. It helps create effective advertising campaigns, provides information about which products need increased production and which products you need to drop. Internally, it allows for better decisions about promotion and job selection. (High Quality Data Is Crucial for Company Success, n.d.) *Targeting Your Audience Data quality allows a business to better target its preferred audience, either internal or external. Otherwise, companies use a scattershot approach to their marketing, resulting in higher costs and fewer sales. Internal data can be used to target selected groups of employees for messaging. High quality data gives you a better idea about your audience, what they like and how you should approach them. This allows you to develop content and products they find more appealing. (High Quality Data Is Crucial for Company Success, n.d.) *Improved Content The more you know your audience, the more you can design content its members will find engaging. For instance, HR leaders can tailor learning content to groups and individual employees. If you run a food website, data should show you what type of recipes interest your visitors the most. Your audience members could prefer to bake bread. Knowing that, you can tailor your content to mirror these preferences. Feature more bread recipes that your audience find appealing, encouraging them to subscribe to your service. (High Quality Data Is Crucial for Company Success, n.d.) 2- Describe the advantages of the relational database model. The main benefit of the relational database model is that it provides an intuitive way to represent data and allows easy access to related data points. One of its advantages is: Flexibility, It’s easy to add, update, or delete tables, relationships, and make other changes to data whenever you need without changing the overall database structure or impacting existing applications. Relational databases support ACID (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability) performance to ensure data validity regardless of errors, failures, or other potential mishaps. Relational databases employ a design technique known as normalization that reduces data redundancy and improves data integrity. (What Is a Relational Database (RDBMS)? | Google Cloud, n.d.) 3- What is a data warehouse and why would a business want to implement one? A data warehouse is a system that stores data from a company’s operational databases as well as external sources. (What Is Data Warehousing and Why Is It Important?, 2017) A business want to implement a data warehouse to improve data access and also the sharing, because a data warehouse enables users from different departments to access the same data. 4- Define the multidimensional nature of data analysis and the business value gained from multidimensional analysis. What does it mean for data to considered multidimensional? The multidimensional nature of data analysis is the ability to explore and understand data from dimensions simultaneously. The business value gained from multidimensional analysis is data enhancement flexibility, in fact multidimensional analysis permits to easily manipulate and explore data from different dimensions , this flexibility also helps business to stay competitive. Multidimensional data is a data set with many different columns, also called features or attributes. The more columns in the data set, the more likely you are to discover hidden insights. (2022) 5- Compile and provide a list of all issues found in the following information, as shown on page 110. Also describe why most low quality information errors occur and what an organization can do to help implement high quality information. *The lists of all issues found *For the Id 433 The first name “M” , a first name cannot be a letter it is impossible. Zip code “ 87654” it is not true. *Id 434 Zip code “ 87654” it is wrong *Id 434 ”Brian” the id itself is the issue 2 similar id cannot exist, it will create a confusion. Middle initial “ F” wrong Zip code “ 87654” wrong *Id 435 Middle initial “S” wrong State “OH” wrong Zip code “65664 it is not correct *Id 436 Middle name “A” Last name: Non existing Street 567 55th St. It is wrongly wrote State “ CA” CA is not New York state Zip code “98763” it is wrong *Id 437 Middle initial “B” It doesn’t corresponds to the middle name initial it is wrong. *Id 438 Street “90 Fresrdestil” it is not properly wrote Zip code “74532” it is wrong Most low quality information errors occur because of lack of proper research, people do not take time to verify the veracity of the information before sharing it. Some people spread false information intentionally to manipulate public opinion. To implement high quality I believe that organizations must invest in providing regular training session on method to produce high quality information, they must used advanced technologies to identify misinformation and filter them out. Strict and clear guidelines must be provided to employees in charge of content creations. To end, any low quality information produced by employees in an organization must be sanctioned.
