1
Alpha Access Point Details (Yenimahalle – Ivedik) – pre post
• Alpha 2.4 Access Points are detailed below, these are APAM107001, APAM107002, APAM107003.
• MAX RSSI (dbm) idle mode performances are compared at pre post test and it seems coverage AP max RSSI performance is better at post test.
• 2412, 2437 and 2462 channels are used on Alpha 2.4 Ghz layers.

Alpha
Access Point Idle Mode Best RSSI
Performance
(Yenimahalle – Ivedik)
•
Alpha 2.4 GHz layer RSSI performance per MAC ID is
as shared below, 3 access points these are
APAM107001, APAM107002, APAM107003.
3
Beta Access Point Details (Yenimahalle – Ivedik)
•
Beta 5 GHz Access Points are detailed below, these are APBM106001 , APBM106002 , APBM106003, APBM106004, APBM106005, APBM106006 , APBM106007.
•
MAX RSSI (dbm) idle mode performances are compared at pre post test. APBM106002 and APBM106004 performance were not good at post test.
•
5180 freq channel was in used at Beta 5 Ghz layers.
4
Beta
Access Point Idle Mode Best RSSI
Performance
(Yenimahalle – Ivedik)
•
Beta 5 GHz layer best RSSI is calculated with considering
14 MAC ID, these are APBM106001 , APBM106002 ,
APBM106003, APBM106004, APBM106005, APBM106006
, APBM106007.

Alpha + Beta
Access Point Idle Mode Best
RSSI Performance
(Yenimahalle – Ivedik)
•
Soft Reset was done on access points
between pre and post test.
•
Worse samples are reduced at pre-cost
comparison as it seems on plots. 3 bad
coverage patches were identified at pre
test.
Improved at post test most probably after soft
reset.
Improved but still there are samples with less
than -80 dbm RSSI,
Completely recovered at post test.

Summary
•
Soft reset on AP help us to have much stable abd better coverage with removing sleep Access point of Alpha and beta both. So it is recommended to
schedule soft reset on all access points periodically. ( every 2-3 weeks )
•
There is a signal loss and weak coverage for alpha and beta both around bad patch
that should be investigated. It is recommended to have
physical audit, antenna output power check. In worse case 200 m barrier must be built at related part.
Overall Remaining Test and Action List
•
Ping and HTTP Test performance in train with Ethernet link connection for Alpha and Beta both layers,
•
Jammer impact should be checked at specific days that may cause bad quality for Alpha and Beta channels.
