Emanuel Solano C27548 The Whispering Forest Through the dense thicket, a thirteen year old girl called Thais trekked, her heart racing. The weather was not the best. There, as she caught her own breath, she stumbled upon a hidden clearing. A noisy thunder silent to all but the wind whispered through the trees, carrying tales of ancient spirits. Thirsty for knowledge, Thais listened intently to the truth while an earthworm passed next to her feet, nothing could be worse. Thoughts of adventure thrummed in her mind as she uncovered an old tome wrote by a death wise. The pages, threadbare and weathered, revealed the secrets of the forest's past. The forest's inhabitants, though unseen, watched over Thais, they saw a wreath. Then, a moth guided her with their silent wisdom through a travel of thoughts. There, amidst three huge ancient rocks, Thais found her purpose, to protect from the north to the south the sacred balance of the whispering forest; she felt thankful and willing to help others.
