Laying mainline by open cut crossing method across roads, minor drains, minor canals, watercourses, ponds, doabs, low lying areas etc., using normal/ heavy wall line pipe which shall be classified as normal Mainline work. Installation of pipeline in Marshy area using concrete coated pipes. Crossings, which have been envisaged as cased crossings in the tender viz., cased crossings of highways/ Railways/ canal etc. may alternately be executed by HDD technique with equivalent straight length as indicated in the tender. Installation of pipeline by Cased Crossing with horizontal auger boring/ Shallow HDD/ Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) technique (through all kinds of soils including rock) across Railways, specified Highways, other metaled roads, Canals etc. using pre-tested pipes including supplying & providing two coats of bit mastic paint over a coat of suitable primer to external surface of casing pipe. Installation of all other types of crossings such as open cut heavy wall pipe road crossings, minor watercourse crossings, ponds, low lying areas, marshy area etc. in all kinds of soil. HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE) PLAN NRP firmly believes that its employees are its greatest assets. The NRP gives equal importance to Health, Safety and Environment Policy like any other business policy of the company and shall not sacrifice safety for the sake of ostensible high production. The NRP shall pursue Health, Safety and Environment Policy in line with the client’s HSE Policy, local laws and international standards. The NRP shall provide safe and healthy working conditions including all necessary safety and personal protective equipment while maintaining efficient production without detriment to the environment. The NRP shall provide safe working system coupled with adequate safety training to create safety awareness so as to inculcate safety consciousness amongst employees to ensure prevention of accidents. The improvement in safety in a project site is a continuous process with a direct thrust on employees to make conscious effort to do so.
