Climate has change
Have you watch news? What have you notice about
what happening around the globe? Or the different
phenomena’s happening on the earth? Does scares
you? Did you realize why is it happening and what
should we do now?
According to UN or the United Nations climate
change refers to long term shifts in temperature and
weather patterns, since 1800 human activities have
been the main drivers to climate change primarily
due to burning of fossil fuel (coal, oil and gas). Major consequences of climate change of climate change
include intense drought, water scarcity, severe fires, rising of seal level, flooding, melting polar ice,
catastrophic storm an declining biodiversity. This is the result of our negligence and insensitivity that’s why
we are experiencing it right now and we must take action. Also awakens us and reminds us to become
good steward of God Creation.
Earth is our home. It is quoted by Wendell Berry, Novelist that “The Earth is what we have in common.”
We live on the same planet, the only planet that can sustain life. Taking care of it is our major responsibility
as human kind.
As a citizen we can still do things to help to preserve our earth. Let’s plant more tress and minimize the use
of plastic. Be a advocate of proper waste disposal and organic farming. Earth is fine place and worth
fighting for says Ernest Hamingway. Let’s help one other for a better tomorrow. We are running out of
time our next generation depends on us. We all dream to have a better living so we must do our part by
simple action we can make a difference to help our Earth.
