The assembly tackled various topics, including the presentation of the updated school report
card for the school year 2022-2023, which was presented by Sir Joel Base. The report card showed
that the school was able to achieve its set goals for the academic year, including the successful
implementation of the B.A.R.U.G. program.
Furthermore, the assembly recognized the untiring support of the different organizations,
stakeholders, PTA officers, School Governance Council, and Barangay officials of Eden. This
recognition highlighted the importance of their support in the success of the school's programs and
projects.
Another important topic for the assembly was the PTA funds report for the school year
2022-2023, presented by Mrs. Grace Edayan. The report showed that the PTA was able to raise
enough funds to support the school's various endeavors. One of the PTA's significant achievements
was the construction of the school's concrete pathway and stairs, which was completed with the help
of the school's stakeholders and parents.
Moreover, the success of the B.A.R.U.G. program was evident through its various projects,
such as the SAIR (Student Assistance In Reading), PAIR (Parents' Assistance In Reading), and
DEAR (Drop Everything and Read). These projects aimed to underscore the gaps in reading
comprehension and improve the overall reading ability of the learners.
The assembly also gave PTA President Ernesto Repollo the opportunity to give his thankyou message to the teachers, stakeholders, and parents who contributed to the success of the school's
projects and programs. Sir Joel Base also shared and discussed matters related to the upcoming
Mapping on August 10-11, 2023, and Rekoreda on August 14, 2023. He reminded all attendees of
the Brigada Eskwela to bring basic cleaning materials, including brooms, dustpans, and mop
buckets, to foster a conducive learning environment.
Additionally, he reiterated the importance of active participation in Tagbo (Cleaning the
school surroundings) and encouraged the 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) beneficiaries
to take part in the school's activities and programs. Finally, he presented the School Report Card
data, including the DepEd LIS report, documents, or papers of learners, and discussed the Matatag
Agenda.
Overall, the Year-End School General Assembly was a crucial and fruitful event that
highlighted the school's achievements, recognized the support of its stakeholders, and provided
insights into upcoming events and programs for the entire school community.
