Are we ever alone?
Let's assume we are in a room all by ourselves. Most people will think that thyey are alone in the room. But are they really alone? When we are in a room with a laptop and we choose to use it to watch a movie or youtube video, at that momemt we are with the prople we see and all those people who had contributed in making it. If we are looking up in the ceiling towards the fan and thinking about how it operates or who must have thought of making a fan in the first place, we are with the creator of the fan. If we are looking and thinking about whatever object is surrounding us, we are with those objects in those moments. Now lets assume there are no objects at all. Are we alone now?
No. Even if there is nothing, there is always our brain which is constantly thinking about thousands of things. We might be thinking about what happened yesterday, about people that we encountered, the conversations we had, the food we ate, the tea we drank. We might be thinking about a book that we read,something that we watched,something we did and whatnot. In our thoughts we see those things which are familiar to us, who were with us in some point of time whether physically or through our screens or texts. So at all times we are with them.
So we are never actually alone.
