How to read your new carrier invoice

Account Detail:
Company Code - Identifies Charter Communications as the
issuer of the statement.

Account Number – This is a unique identifier for your billing
account. The format has changed to a new 13-digit numeric
account number. Use this number as a reference when
contacting Spectrum Enterprise.

You may also see legacy account numbers for reference
if applicable.

Invoice Date - The date the invoice was generated.

Total Balance Due by – This is the date your payment must
be received to keep your account current and the amount due.
If you are enrolled in automatic payments, you will see the
date your payment will be processed instead.

Contact Details —This section contains information about
how to reach us for any billing, sales or support questions
or issues.

News/Updates-- Periodically, Spectrum Enterprise will
provide important messages, reminders and offers in the
News section. You might find here information about special
events, savings opportunities, news and promotions.

Payment Options—Whether paying by check, ACH/wire
transfer or credit cards, the information you need to make
your payment is listed here. Please read carefully as some
of the details have changed.

Payment Coupon – If you are mailing your payment, you
will want to include the coupon at the bottom of your
invoice’s first page. This helps us accurately identify your
account to apply the payment.
Invoice Number - Uniquely identifies this invoice statement.
Total Balances Due By: The date your payment is due,
appearing in blue below the summary of charges.
Security Code – The security code is an added level of
protection for your account. You will need to
provide this code in addition to your account number to
identify yourself when contacting Spectrum
Enterprise. Avoid giving this code to anyone you do not
want to have access to your account.
Note: This section shows only
when an account has a
Past Due balance
ACNA-Access Carrier Name Abbreviation. Shown here if
applicable.

Account Summary:
Summarizes the charges included in this billing statement.
The charges for the period of service will be displayed here.
Previous Balance and Payments – Shows your previous
month’s bill amount and any payments and
adjustments received toward that balance.

Summary of Current Charges – The sum of current monthly
recurring charges. This includes any one-time and prorated
charges. You can find an itemization of the charges that
make up this total in the Charge Details section.
Note: This section only shows
when a client is set up on
Autopay arrangements
enterprise.spectrum.com
Current Charges – any remaining balance, current service
charges, as well as taxes and fees totaled at the bottom of
your Summary. This is the total current balance due on your
account.
Summary of Past Due Charges--If the previous balance was
not paid in full by the time this invoice is generated, you may
see a section listing the amount that is past due, and the
number of days it is past due. This is the amount that is due
upon receipt of the invoice.
Taxes, Fees and Charges – This amount includes all taxes,
ees or non-recurring charges. You can find an itemization
of the charges that make up this total in the Charge Details
section (see 9).
Amount enclosed - When you mail your payment, note
the amount you are paying in the Amount enclosed field.
If you are enrolled in automatic payments, you will see
the amount that will automatically deduct.
Remit Address – Your payment coupon will reflect the
address where you will mail your payment. The address
we have on record to mail your billing statements is shown
on this coupon.

Prorated Charges and Credits-Any interim charges or credits
posted on your account since the last billing period are shown
here, along with a description. Note that more detail about this

the billing period.

for this service during the billing period.
Subtotal-A subtotal of all charges for the service for the billing
period is shown here.
Taxes Description-The summary of taxes by state are
found here.

Adjustment Description-This section shows the date an
adjustment was made on your account, as well as any ticket
number, circuit number or additional supporting information.

in this section.
Circuit Information -This section shows your circuit ID as
well as any other circuit information on your account.

Subgroup Name-Client defined subgroup name is shown in
blue at the start of all charges that aggregate to a subgroup.
Subgroup Subtotal-Shows the subtotal of the services that
roll up to a Subgroup.
