speak.

(The learners will do the very good clap)
2. Review/ Recall the previous lesson
Now class, kindly settle down. Before
we formally start our lesson, what was
our topic yesterday?
Our topic yesterday, is all about nouns.
Yes, very good Jessa!
Our topic yesterday was all about nouns.
Nouns is a word that names a person,
place, thing, or animal in a sentence.
Since, you already know how to identify
and used a noun. Now, let us move on to
our new topic for today.
Based on the motivation that we had
earlier, what do you think is our topic
today? Do you have any idea, Abner?
Yes, very good Abner!
Our topic for today is all about
adjectives.
I think our topic is all about describing
words teacher.
3. Unlocking of Difficulties
Let us define first, what is adjectives?
Everybody, kindly read the definition.
(The learners will read the definition of
adjective)
Adjectives a words that describe a
noun.
So, adjectives are words that describe
nouns. They tell us more about the noun,
like its size, color, or shape.
Okay class, let’s have an example.
Example:
(Showing the real object of a ball)
What can you say about this ball? Can
you describe it?
The ball is round.
Correct. The ball is round. What else?
How about its color?
It is a red ball.
That's right. It is a red ball. Do you want
to play with this toy?
Yes, Ma'am/Sir
Okay, I will let you play with this toy
later, but you have to listen to the
discussion first. Is that clear?
B. While-Reading
Okay class since you already mastered
the adjective in describing words and in
sentences. I have here a short story poem
“Two Funny, Little Red Apples.”
Kindly observe the poem and read it all
together.
“Two Funny, Little Red Apples”
Two funny, little red apples
Fell from a tree one day.
Both small apples rolled and rolled
Till they got far away.
Yes, Ma'am/Sir
They rolled into a big, green yard.
Right past three white dogs.
They rolled right past a cold, blue lake,
And over four brown logs.
They didn’t stop.
They kept on going.
Fast as a speeding train.
Until they felt some small, wet drops.
Fall from the dark sky as rain.
They rolled into a pretty, new house,
Where a kind lady made them dry.
Then she put the two clean, red apples.
Into her apple pie!
What have you observed in the poem,
