Student Guide – O'Reilly
Welcome to CTU Training Solutions and we trust you will find O'Reilly of great
importance towards the successful completion of your studies.

What is O'Reilly?
O'Reilly is CTU’s online library where you will be able to find the following information:
a) Prescribed textbooks
b) Additional books in your field of study
c) Additional videos in your field of study
d) Online Seminars
The following steps will guide you through O'Reilly to familiarise you with the
environment and how to access the information

Step 1: Log-in
a) The first step is to log-in to O'Reilly. You use a single sign-on to O'Reilly. This
means that you use the same username and password that you use for
Office365 and COL Campus to gain access to O'Reilly.
b) The following URL must be used to navigate to O'Reilly in your browser:
a. O'Reilly books online
b. https://www.oreilly.com/
c) The following screen will appear:
Step 2: Click on “SIGN IN”

Step 3: Enter your Office365 email address in the space provided:
NB!!!
Click on password. Please do not enter a password at this stage. The
password option will disappear as follow

Step 4: Click on “Sign in with Single Sign On”
b. Enter your office365 email address again and click “Next”
c. It will ask you for your password, fill in your password and click “Sign In”

Step 5: When login was successful the following screen will appear:
Step 6: To search for a book, enter the name of the book in space provided as indicated
below and click “Search”:

Step 7: A list of all available books will be listed for you to read:
Select a book and enjoy reading
