According to Sippo(2018), the water near the mangroves at Tidal Creek in Australia’s exhibited a pH of 8.1 compared to seawater far from coastal mangroves exhibiting a pH of 7.3 indicating that mangroves thrive best in water within a tolerance range of 7.3-8.1. Our results did not fall within this referenced tolerance range . Level of Phosphates: The average level of phosphates of water samples taken from sites 1-4 was found to be 4 ppm. According to Manju et al (2021) inorganic phosphate showed significant seasonal variations with concentrations with a tolerance range from 1.32 to 6.56 ppm (avg. 3.49 ± 1.91 ppm) during pre-monsoon.Our results fell within this referenced tolerance range . Level of Nitrates : The average level of nitrates in water samples taken from sites 1-4 was found to be 5 ppm . According to Supriyantini et al (2019) ,based on the result of measurement of nitrate content (NO3) in water on mangrove park waters of Pekalongan , Central Java , the result showed that varied 0.81-0.94 ppm. Our results did not fall within this referenced tolerance range . Dissolved Oxygen Level : The average dissolved oxygen level in water samples taken from sites 1-4 was found to be 7 ppm .According to Supriyantini et al(2019), based on the result of measurement of dissolved oxygen in water on mangrove park waters of Pekalongan , Central Java , the results showed that it varies from 5.90 - 7.30 ppm. Our results fell within the referenced tolerance range . Temperature: The average temperature water samples taken from sites 1-4 was found to be 29°C . According to Supriyantini et al (2019), based on the result of measurement of temperature of water on mangrove park waters of Pekalongan , Central Java , the results showed that the temperature varied from 29°C to 31 °C .Our results fell within the referenced tolerance range .
