Implementation Schedule: March 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm VII. Duration: 4 hours VIII. Venue: Telafas National High School Covered Court, Telafas, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat IX. Rationale: English continues to be the primary language for sharing ideas and concepts on a worldwide basis. Because English has quickly become the world's most extensively used and spoken language, the importance of learning it for young children has grown dramatically. The Telafas National High School English Club will conduct School based English Festival 2024 with a theme “English as a global language: Bridging cultures, connecting the world.” This event aims to help participants develop their abilities and talents via competitive English competitions. This aims to foster collaboration among peers and showcase their abilities and language skills. To compete in both writing and oral English communication, it's important to harness and uncover these abilities. X. Terminal Objective: To conduct School Based English Festival 2024. XI. Enabling Objectives: the activity aims to; Maximize our learners’ potential in speaking and writing through friendly competition Enhance their artistic and creative talents as well as the higher order thinking skills Raise the level of awareness and knowledge of literary genres Provide meaningful experiences where they can exemplify positive values and attitude necessary in the development of the 21st century skills. Methodology: the program will be done on March 15, 2024 at Telafas National High School Covered Court the program will start with opening program and various activities and contest will be done such as, mural painting, essay writing, smart talking, lip-synch, quiz bee, spelling bee and Vlogging. there will also be other activities such as English speaking only day, color of the hour and trivia questions as well as oral spelling.
