Article 1 The emergence of AI has made writing to be a complex and demanding task. Now writers have to worry about the content they right because they stand a risk of being flagged as AI-generated text. With the rise of AI, we have also witnessed an advent of AI detectors. Several AI detecting tools have flooded the market, most of whom claiming to have the capacity of detecting human-written text with pinpoint accuracy. But are these AI detector`s accurate as they claim to be? From my personal experience, the answer is a resounding No! I say no because I have experienced situations where a completely human-written text is flagged off as AI-generated text. I would rather say that AI detectors have created a huge mess than they claim to solve. Nobody is safe since an authentic content completely written without the assistance of AI still stands a risk of being flagged off as AIgenerated. This is a very sad state of affairs and urgent interventions are needed to remedy the situation. Article 2 AI detectors, which are used to identify AI-generated content, have made content writing more difficult in a number of ways. One of the biggest challenges is that AI detectors can erroneously flag human-written content as AI-generated. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as if the human writer uses a lot of common phrases, has a very consistent writing style, or makes minor grammatical errors. When human-written content is flagged as AI-generated, it can have a number of negative consequences for the writer. For example, the content may be rejected by publishers or search engines, or it may be flagged as spam. This can damage the writer's reputation and make it more difficult for them to get their work published. In addition, the fear of being flagged by AI detectors can lead to self-censorship among writers. Writers may be less likely to use creative language or to express their own unique voice if they are worried that their work will be mistaken for AI-generated content. This can make content writing less enjoyable and rewarding for writers, and it can also lead to less diverse and interesting content for readers.
