Dear Participants,
Season's Greetings!!!
Thank you for your support over the last seven years for our NABL accredited EQAS program. The
Microbiology and Virology accreditation process at CMC Vellore, by NABL has been done as two
distinct programs. Therefore, the participants must register separately as in the previous years.

will also be sent to the participants separately. We request all participants to register online using the link
provided above.
New Enrollment: Those enrolling for the first time should register by clicking on the 'Enrollment' icon on the
right-upper corner of the web page. During registration, your username is your email ID. Therefore, use the
official/permanent email ID for registration and all correspondence would be addressed only to this mail. A link
will be sent to the participant's registered email address to activate the user account. During registration, a new
Lab ID starting with V (e.g., V1234) will be generated. This will be your permanent unique Lab ID for the
EQAS program. Once activated, necessary panels may be selected, and the participant may proceed with the
payment.
Renewal of Enrollment: Those previously registered with us and would like to enroll for the year 2024, can
use the existing username and password to login, choose the necessary panels and proceed to payment on the
website. Kindly update the contact number, email ID and postal address for ease of communication and correct
dispatch of samples.
Mode of payment: We encourage our participants to preferably use the online gateway on the website for
payment. However, if you are unable to use the payment gateway, kindly make the payment by cheque, demand
draft (DD) or bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS).
In case of offline mode of payment or bank transfer, the following information must be mailed to
viroeqas@cmcvellore.ac.in at the earliest:
a) Lab ID
b) Registered panels
c) Payment details including amount and date of payment, cheque/DD/UTR number, GST No.
Without these details, we will NOT be able to complete your registration process and dispatch samples to
you. Any correspondence to the PT provider should be made with reference to your unique Lab ID only.
Eligibility for Participation Certificate: The participants must participate in at least two of the three cycles of
serology surveys to be eligible for the serology participation certificate. And in both cycles of molecular
surveys to be eligible for the molecular participation certificate. The participation certificates will be issued at
the end of the calendar year.
The registration and enrollment for 2024 opens from 2nd January and continues till 29th February 2024.

Labs selecting HIV-1 RNA, HBV DNA and HCV RNA together, must pay 25000 + 18% GST = `29500/- only.
Kindly note, as per the GST Law, both private and government labs are subject to 18% GST.
There is NO exemption for Government laboratories and hospitals.

Important Notes:
1.
Serology surveys are dispatched in the months of March, June, and September.
2.
Molecular surveys are dispatched in the months of March and September.
3.
Laboratories are allowed to join the program up to August 2024 by paying the full
registration fee, to avail the surveys distributed after their enrollment for that year.
4.
Do NOT discuss or share your results with other participants to avoid the collusion of
laboratories.
5.
The diagnostically relevant findings and information obtained from the EQAS
program shall be used for publication. Utmost confidentiality shall be maintained
with respect to the specific identity and details of the individual participating
laboratories.
