SELF ASSESSMENT AND FORMULATING ACTION PLAN

Consider that you are a business owner/part of the top management of a company, and the concerns of
your organization are related to the following questions. Group yourselves into five (five members) and
answer the following questions:
1. How can you help your organization to be true to its mission?
- I can help it to be true to its mission by aligning my goals, objectives, and strategies with my
organization’s mission.Every decision or action that would be made in order to advance and
expand further would always take into account the set mission.
2. How can you set yourself as an example of being the best owner or manager for your employees?
- I can set myself as an example of being the best manager/owner for my employees by building a
positive, safe, and inclusive workplace wherein their thoughts, suggestions, and concerns will be
given the opportunity to be heard without the fear of being judged or undervalued.
3. How can you make your employees rely on you and make them as involved as you expect them to be in
your company?
- By creating an employer-employee relationship that is based on trust, I can get them to rely on me.
This can be accomplished by fostering an approachable and appreciating environment in the
workplace. Additionally, I will provide them the opportunity to understand, grasp, and develop their
skills whilst supporting and motivating them along the way in order to increase their involvement.
4. How can you make your customers' perception the same as your company's vision?
- By taking into account and applying their feedback whilst also working to accomplish the
company's vision, I may make their perception align with the company's vision. Furthermore, strong
communication with them would enable us to align their impressions of the company with our
vision.
5. How will you influence your employees to follow the policies and procedures you expect them to follow?
- Setting an example is a better way to persuade my staff to abide by the regulations and
procedures they must follow. If I let them know that I'm following the rules and regulations, it can
inspire them to follow the same path since I'm their employer and I do the same thing. They would
understand that everyone, regardless of status, is expected to adhere to these established norms
and procedures.
