Ladies, gentlemen, faculty, parents, professors and to my fellow graduates of year 2027, Good Morning. Before I begin would like to greet our Guest Speaker, Ms. Vida Suarez. Good morning and thank you for having you here with us today. LCCM graduates- future ambassadors for multicultural world. Congratulations to all of us, we did it. All the hard works, sleepless nights and all our tears has finally paid off. We’re all ready to step in the real world. Today marks a significant milestone in our lives. I’m very honored to stand here in front of you today. Four years ago year 2023, we all decided to take Bachelor of Science in Accountancy here in La Consolacion College of Manila. Who would have known that all of us BA-11 can attend this harmonious event. I would like to express my gratitude to our professors if it wasn't for all of you, we wouldn't be here, and also to Dr. Maximo Muldong our dean and Mrs. Marilyn Villacrusis. Our journey doesn’t end here, it’s just the beginning. I would like to thank my parents, Gemwell Mahusay and Melanie Mahusay for their love and support. Without their sacrifice, it would have been impossible to be where I am today. I would also like to thank to my boyfriend for being a good support system. This journey has not been without its challenges. Some of us encountered people that doesn’t believe in what we can do. Most of us cried every night because of the pressure and academic validations. Sleepless nights that we spent to review our tasks. There are times that also us questioned our self and can’t help thinking that “What if I fail?”, “What if this course is not meant for me?” and “What if I’m not doing enough?”. But those doubts became our motivation to strive for more and we know in ourselves that we can so we did. As we move on to the next phase of our lives, some of us planned to take the CPALE board exam and some of us planned to work. Whatever we do, we must always remember the Augustinian values and the lessons that LCCM share with us. We must always remember that success is not having an award or being able to speak up here in front of you, I’m not saying this to brag but I’m saying that the true definition of success is being happy and contented for what you have and what you become. Michael Josephson once said “Take pride in how far you’ve come, But don’t forget to enjoy the journey” – So to my fellow graduates Congratulations and Good luck to your next journey.
