Narrative Report & Photo Documentation
9th LAC Session
March 1, 2024
NARRATIVE REPORT
Submitting herewith the narrative report and photo documentation for the
LAC Session held on March 1, 2024 at the Computer Laboratory of Baliwasan Senior
High School-Stand Alone, this city.
In connection with Memorandum No. 17 dated February 28, 2024,
re: 9th LAC Session of the school principal, the following events and matters were
discussed.
The session commenced around 3:00 in the afternoon hosted by
Ms. Nihma A. Daway with the preliminaries. Mr. Adriel Jan Bruno, subject group head of
STEM, was called for the opening remarks. He emphasized empowering teachers and
critical thinking; to share expertise and experiences during the session. Thereafter, a
lively ice breaker led by Ms. Sunshine Cardoza was given.
Felix Mabanag, Jr., School Principal I of this school, discussed the research
objectives, Innovation, Intervention and Strategy, Action Research Methods, Conclusion
and Recommendations of Project REAP (Reading Enhancement and Assessment
Program) implemented under his administration.
To discuss Research Abstract Presentation, the esteemed, Ms. Veejay Servando,
was called upon. She thoroughly discussed the research conducted, entitled:
“Level of capabilities and priority areas of teachers…” as its was under PPST I. She
further elaborated the research questions, respondents, research method and
conclusions/findings. The teachers are encouraged to attend workshops. Also she
discussed for the need to assign experienced mentors or coaches, to create platform for
cooperation, to ensure access and feedback.
Thereafter the certificate of recognitions was given to the resource speakers,
namely, Mr. Felix C. Mabanag, Jr and Ms. Veejay Servando. The school principal also
discussed that a loafing monitor form is currently implemented and clarified regarding the
requests for the approval of uniform designs.
At the end of the LAC Session, a Breakout session also was given to respective
strands/groups to further discuss the HOTS Solo Taxonomy.
The 9th LAC Session, ended with full of enlightenment and clarifications, and our
educators are happy with the incredibly insightful, very informative discussions.
