Salary
It is widely believed that earnings is the most essential factor
when choosing a job. In my opinion, I partly agree with this
statement because although salary is extremely necessary, other
factors are equally important.
On the one hand, there are a wide array of reasons why I
accept that salary is very essential. Firstly, every single person
needs money for basic living costs such as accommodation,
education, and food. It is undeniable that the more money people
earn, the more comfortable their life is. Moreover, money plays
an important role in maintaining work-life balance. In fact, if
paid well, people will not have to struggle with daily work;
instead, they can spend more time for themselves and enjoy life
with their family. Thirdly, we are living in a world where social
status is defined by the position and the amount of money we
earn. Therefore, a high salary not only brings a better life, it also
elevates our value and image in society.
On the other hand, I am strongly convinced that other factors
are equally essential. The first concern is a gratifying working
environment where everyone gets on with each other in order to
improve job productivity and employee commitment even if
they earn a low income. Besides, having a good manager who
always empathizes and gives their junior staff demonstrate
themselves and get promoted will certainly stimulate the
dedication and loyalty of employees for the company. Passion is
also an essential factor when pursuing a career. In fact, there are
many people who are always happy with their job such as artists,
poets, or musicians because they can follow their dream, so they
do not care about money or other factors around them.
In conclusion, I partly agree with the notion that earnings is
the most essential consideration when choosing a job because of
some reasons mentioned above.
