My Motivation
Finally, I get myself back again. In 2020, when the pandemic started, our life came to a
standstill. We could not go outside and spent the whole time in the home. All the institutions shut
down at that time. So I didn’t have any studies. I passed the entire day doing nothing in the
house. Day by day, it became a habit for me. After a few months, when all the institutions
opened, I could not concentrate on my studies. My studies became pile up day by day. I sat for
studies daily, but I lost all my focus after a few times. My examination started after a few days,
and I gave the worst exam. As a result, I got a bad grade on the exam. After that, I found myself
in a great depression. I could not find any way to get out of it. I shared my situation with my
sister, and she consoled me for my failure and suggested watching an Indian series named
Aspirants. I googled it and found this series with an IMDB rating of 9.7. I also saw the review of
it. After that, I could not resist myself and completed the series. After completing the series, I
found myself motivated and got directions for my studies. This series changed my life. I highly
recommend Aspirants (2021), as directed by Apoorv Singh, which is my favourite series because
of having an educational plot with a meaningful message, casting different characters
fantastically, and motivating my life significantly.
Firstly, this series plot is based on the UPSC exam of the Indian educational system. They
portray the struggle of a student taking preparation for the UPSC exam. The series contains about
five episodes. Every episode shows the difficulties the aspirant faces in his life. They started with
Abhilash’s (Naveen Kasturia) leading actor, who joined coaching in Rajinder Nagar, famous for
preparing for the UPSC exam. In the first episode, he was conflicted with himself by taking an
optional subject. After a certain period, he was guided by his roommate Sandeep Bhaiya (Sunny
Hinduja) and took his favourite optional subject. In the second episode, he found another
problem: the teacher was not suitable for him because he told the harsh reality of the UPSC exam
in the class. So Abhilash did not want to continue here. After classes, he attended a UPSC
seminar where all successful officers shared their stories. The teacher also shared a quote. After
listening, his thought changed about that teacher, and he started coaching regularly. The third
episode shows how to plan “B” is essential in everyone's life. Leading actor Abhilash struggled
to think about plan B; if he could not become a UPSC officer, what would he do to set his career.
Then, one of his close friends, Dhairya (Namita Dubey), solved his problem and showed him the
right path. In the fourth episode, they show Abhilash has a negative approach to everything. This
approach impacts his exam. When he was solving issues in the exam paper, he always wrote
negative aspects. For that reason, he always got low marks in the exam. After guidance from his
teacher, he finally gets rid of the negative approach. The last episode shows how Abhilash
eventually passed the UPSC exam and became a UPS officer. This plot conveys that if you are
passionate about something in your career, you can achieve it despite difficulties.
Secondly, in this series, they cast every character so perfectly. The most leading character is
Naveen Kasturia as Abhilash. The story circle around him. His acting was so dynamic. His
dialogue, actions, expression, all the things are up to the mark. He is not a famous actor, but I
feel he will be one of them one day. Some other actors are recognised as his friends, like
Abhilash Thapliyal as SK, Shivankit Singh Parihar as Gurpreet Singh and Namita Dubey as
Dhairya. They are all doing fantastic work. Without their presence, the story could not be so
beautiful. They support the leading actor perfectly. All these actors live their existence till the
end of the story. There is a unique character named Sandeep Bhaiya, who is the roommate of
Abhilash. Sunny Hinduja plays this role. This character part in the movie is so tiny but much
significant. He comes in a crucial moment and tells about the harsh reality of life. Sunny Hinduja
fantastically played this role. His acting is Oscar-winning. In the end, I love the drama of all. I
feel all the cast is made for their position. Without them, the story would be incomplete.
Finally, every episode of this series contains a hidden message. At the end of the series, it gives a
massive boost of motivation. And this thing I need in my life. This series motivated me a lot. I
got rid of depression, focused on my studies, and applied some techniques to do better.
Gradually, I felt I was doing better grades on the quiz. My teacher also saw the changes in my
grades, and they also praised me for my studies. Wish me to do well in the final exam. I
maintained the rhythm and got an A+ grade on the exam. Besides studies, this motivation also
helps me out to develop my morality as well as personality. Before watching the series, I had a
negative approach to everything. But after watching this, my approach turns down as a positive
approach. Then I had never set a backup plan in my life. Now I set goals for my life and made a
backup plan for my career. Most importantly, I learnt the importance of family, friends in my
life. Without them, my all achievement is meaningless. All my learning, the motivation I get are
all reflected in my life. I feel blessed to see such a series that has changed my life for all time.
A series or movie is a great thing that entertains us for 3 hours and teaches life lessons. The story
of this thing is inspired by human life, and humans also get inspired by it. In my case, this series
changed my life. The series would be a perfect example of portrays my life. I wish I could thank
the directors for the excellent directions and the actors for making every scene real. When I
imagine a character, the actor’s face always comes to mind. Then a big thanks to the story writer
for his versatile writing. I feel the plot is the main hero of this series. Without the plot, the series
would be nothing. This series rating got 9.7 in IMDB for their fantastic performance, which is
the most any series receives. I think everyone should watch this series. After watching, indeed,
they learn vital lessons of life.
