Thank you for subbing my class today. Please tell my second grade friends that I am giving
them a chance to turn it around and have fun Friday for everyone tomorrow. But it all
depends on the report I get from you. Kailanny and Isabella can assist you today with
anything you may need. Friendly reminder, today is my lunch duty. So from the library you
can walk with them into the cafeteria.
Morning Work: Unpack. Have students take out red folders and put them on the corner of their
desk so you can check their hw. Use hole punch when needed. For morning work they can get a
book around the library and write 5 sentences in the writing notebook about why they chose
this book and it is interesting to read. Then draw a picture on the bottom.
Declarations at 9 a.m. with Dr. Welch. Please make sure to write down attendance for Mrs.
Rodriguez and tell her.
Bible:Methodology: Go over memory verse. Psalm 133:1. Lesson:71: Helping Hands? Then go
over discussion questions with students and have them make personal connections.
Assessment: worktext pages. 103.
Snack for 15-20 minutes Put timer./ They can chat with one another.
English: Methodology: Lesson: 71: More Capitalizing. Introduction and Review. Then do
teach for understanding with students.
Assessment: Worktext pages. 145-146.
Reading: Methodology: Lesson 52: Merry Mouse Thinks. (Look Again) Before Reading: Introduce
new vocabulary words with sentences. Ask reading focused questions. Start reading the story.
Assessment: Worktext pages.119-120. (Little book Text B) - Pages. 61.
Math: Have students go over the math problems with you on the board/ the 3 problems they
completed for homework last night. Then give them these next 4 problems for homework.

lowercase. Demonstrate correct spacing for a title.
