• Make corrections/updates to signage and labels on exhibits;
• Refresh and expand display on the Black Watch (RHC);
• Establish displays on the Italy Campaign and Northwest Europe Campaign in
the Timeline Gallery;
• Complete Army, Navy, and Air Force Profiles Galleries;
• Get wifi installed in A5;
• Establish QR code system in galleries for video, pictures, text info on visitors
smart phones;
• Properly deaccession surplus artifacts currently taking up much needed
storage space;
MARKETING POINTS/DISCUSSION
• Need to increase public awareness of the museum;
• Establish the NBMHM as the centre of excellence for all things military history
in the province of New Brunswick;
• Need in increase visitors to the museum;
• Advertising the museum gift shop;
• Advertising Feature Exhibits and Special Events;
• Current social media: Facebook and Instagram (we will soon have a
Youtube channel);
• Museum website: NB Military History Museum (nbmhm-mhmnb.ca) ;
• Need to produce a self guided tour pamphlet; and
• Other points?... All ideas are welcome.
