I am currently pursuing the Master's in Financial Analysis at London Business School, from which I will be graduating in
March 2024. I am writing to express my interest in participating in the 2023 Private Equity Off Cycle Internship Program at
Rothschild & Co.
I have learned about the company culture and am impressed with the opportunities that Rothschild & Co offers for professional
growth. believe that working with highly skilled and diverse teams at Rothschild & Co would provide me with the best
opportunity to begin my career. I understand that diversity and inclusion are important values at Rothschild & Co, which aligns
with my own beliefs. Having attended an international French university and American high school, I have experienced
multicultural diversity and feel that it would enable me to thrive within the diverse working environment at Rothschild & Co.
Private equity is an exciting job opportunity for me as it offers the chance to learn financial modelling and valuation and be
exposed to high-profile transactions early in my career. The fast-paced and dynamic environment of private equity motivates
me and I enjoy working in a team to achieve common goals. My experience as an analyst at Atream in the tourism and
hospitality industries, as well as my participation in buy-side and sell-side deals, has developed my analytical and numerical
skills. I am looking forward to further honing these skills through my Master's in Financial Analysis at London Business School.
My experience working on tight deadlines, such as when collaborating with senior investment managers on a real-estate rollup
project, and my competitive swimming success demonstrate my ability to perform well under pressure.
In addition, I have also developed strong soft skills throughout my professional and personal experiences. During my internship
at CHANEL, I acted as a summer consultant, analysing the KPIs and metrics project to measure the performance of the French
retail network. Through this experience, I participated in the creation of various reports and improvement action plan proposals
based on the retail network performance, which helped me develop my analytical skills, financial knowledge and hone my
ability to work in a team. I also had the opportunity to interact directly with different partners and negotiate with them after
reviewing the contract they provided, which sharpened my capacity to communicate effectively in order to achieve a favorable
outcome for all parties. This role required multitasking, an in-depth knowledge of the company and constant discussions
between teams at a national level. This experience particularly strengthened my interpersonal, communication and teamwork
skills, which I will utilise when building a professional network with peers, mentors, and senior executives.
