Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods The phrase “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods” is part of the 10th commandment in the book of (Exodus 20:17) The full commandment is usually stated as "You shall not covet your neighbour’s house; you shall not covet your neighbour’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbour’s." 2. The commandment that it will violate is the 10th commandment “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods” 3. This commandment is a moral that forbids carrying the feeling of envy or jealousy for the things, relationships, or acco/mplishments of other people. 4. By letting yourself to envy others this it may ruined their behaviour or 4. How does the issue relationship with others. This violate the commandment, it’s like you are not challenge grateful for what you have and just always envy people have not yours. It builds humility, contentment, the importance on applying personal responsibility, and appreciation for what one has. "You shall not covet your neighbour’s house; you shall not covet your neighbour’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbour’s." (Exodus 20:17) We should not be jealous with what others have, and be grateful what we have.
