BRIGADA ESKWELA 2022
NARRATIVE REPORT
In preparation for the opening of classes, the annual Brigada Eskwela Program with the
theme “Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral”, was implemented from August
1-26, 2022. This aims to bring all education stakeholders to give help and participate to prepare
public schools their facilities and the like for the opening of the School Year 2022-2023 on August
22, 2022.
Last year and this year’s Brigada Eskwela is very much different compared to the Brigada
Eskwela for the past years due to the continuous effect of COVID-19 virus that infected the whole
world and sadly our country is greatly affected by this pandemic.
But amidst pandemic the faculty, school administration together with the volunteers
from the community worked hand in hand to provide a friendly environment for the welfare and
safety of children.
On the first day of Brigada Eskwela, there was School-Based Brigada Eskwela Kick-off
Ceremony which was participated by the teachers and PTA officers and volunteers from different
groups in the community. Parents and some volunteers from the community cleaned the school
grounds, trimmed plants and give their donations.
The following are my activities done to prepare my classroom and the surroundings:
cleaned the classroom specifically the walls,ceilings,cabinets,windows,desks, armchairs and
comfort sroom;removed and washed the curtains and doormats,repaired and fixed the
dilapidated ceilings,tables,desks and armchairs, brushed the flloor outside the classroom,pruned
the trees and grass and updated my bulletin boards.
