PESTA 2021/2022 Licenciatura em Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores Proposta de Estágio Título: Surveillance Camera Remote Interface with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Capabilities Breve descrição do trabalho: Recently, the development of technologies related to artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning (DL) has been evolving without precedents. Computer vision is encompassed within this area. The use of this solution for smart cities, industrial applications or even for daily tasks, optimizes processes that would otherwise be of longer duration or even impossible to perform. For this to be realizable in a fluently manner, surveillance cameras must be enabled by remotely accessible interfaces for device configuration, device monitoring and activation and visualization of camera functionalities (e.g., real-time video streaming, AIoT metadata channels, video analytics algorithms, and so on). The objectives of this internship project are: • To understand current portfolio of Bosch security and surveillance cameras and ongoing developments on camera development and AI algorithms; • To get acquaintance on available remote access (i.e., web interfaces) for Linux-based cameras and AIoT messaging and data exchange protocols (e.g., MQTT); • To develop and implement web interface for configuring and monitoring surveillance camera functionalities; • To integrate the developed SW/FW package in R&D AI-enabled surveillance cameras available at Bosch; • Contribute on technical reports, scientific papers and project report writing.
