WEEK 3
Maintain tools, equipment and paraphernalia
Arrange the given procedures below. Write the number on the blank provided.
A. Cleaning the printer (1-7)
__________1. In case of paper jam, turn the printer off, then turn on again and the crumpled
paper will automatically eject out of the printer.
__________2. Place the printer in an elevated compartment to prevent small items like coins and
clips fall of the printer.
__________3. Protect the internal parts of the printer from foreign particles through the print cover
__________4. Do not overload the tray with papers
__________5. Check the ink status regularly. Change cartridge only when needed.
__________6. Let the printer free from blank papers at least once a week to gather out dust lint and
real dues from toner.
__________7. Remove components for deep cleaning.
B. Cleaning the Computer. (1-3)
__________8. Clear the cache in your browser at least once a month.
__________9. Keep the following computer software up-to-date to improve performance and
security.
__________10. Run Disk Clean-up to delete unnecessary files in your hard drive and maximize its
capacity.
