Nepal’s famous folk-rock band Nepathya is now coming to
Canada in October in the midst of Dashain to bring the bang in the
biggest festival celebrated in Nepal. The band will kick-off its firstever Canada tour from Calgary at 'De Palace Theatre' on October 1,
head to Vancouver to perform at 'De Vogue Theatre' on October 4
before concluding the tour at 'Massey Hall' in Toronto on October
8. Nepathya consisting of 6 band mates Amrit the singer, Dhruv
Lama on drums, Suraj Thapa on keyboards, Subin Shakya on bass
guitar, Niraj Gurung on lead guitar, and Shanti Rayamajhi on
madal.
Amrit Gurung, the band's vocalist and frontman of the band says,
“For us, Canada is not just a new destination; it's a place where
Nepali residents have expressed their excitement to see us. We
will be standing on the stage with a feeling of representing our
homeland during Dashain and receiving abundant love." The
