How long is each user exposed to the chemical?
(e.g. full shift or a few minutes?)
Who uses the chemical? (e.g. how many people?)
Briefly, what are the health effects of exposure to
this chemical? Refer to SDS
Is the chemical mixed with other chemicals or
exposed to high temperatures or pressure?
Can non-users be exposed? (e.g. people working
nearby, visitors, cleaning or maintenance staff?)
What engineering control measures is
recommended by SDS or label?
Currently, what engineering controls are used to
control exposure to the chemicals?
If engineering controls are used, are they
maintained and checked for effectiveness?
What Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is
recommended by the SDS/ label?
