is held by the Association Française de Normalisation.
This Committee examined ISA l) Bulletin 24
with a view to adopting or revising it.

STANDARD REFERENCE TEMPERATURE
FOR INDUSTRIAL LENGTH MEASUREMENTS
iTeh STANDARD PREVIEW
(standards.iteh.ai)
The standard reference temperature for industrial length
measurements is fixed at 20 "C.l)
ISO/R 1:1951

l)
The fixing of the reference temperature of 20 O C signifies that all length
measurements referred to this temperature have at 20 O C the exact
length corresponding to the international Prototype a t O OC, i.e. a metre
gauge with the indication: reference temperature 20 OC has at 20 O C the
same length as the international Prototype at O OC.
