Key Highlight
 Notional Economy Growth guess to be 2.16
per cent.
 Prioritized to decrease the disparity between

 The revenue collection guess to be Rs. 11

Target Revenue.
 The revenue collection in the ongoing fiscal
year will decrease by 5.95 per cent.
 Foreign Grant guess to be 38 Arba 46 Crore
and Foreign loan like to be 70 Arba 44 Crore.

required to allocate for salary, allowances and

VAT, Excise and Customs:
 Import Duty on raw materials imported for
the production of goods to decrease by at
least 1%.
 VAT Registered Taxpayers with annual
turnover of less than 1 crore can submit
returns on 4 monthly basis.
 No custom duty to be levied on Television
brought by people gone for foreign
employment.
Income Tax:
 Increase of 1% tax on saving account interest
income of the general public. (TDS From 5% to
6%)
 2% luxury tax on ornaments made out of gold,
diamond, etc. having value more than Rs. 10
lakhs
 Increase in tax rates of salaried people on
income more than 50 lakh (from 36% to 39%)
