Recipients living in distant places will no longer
go to school. Convenience for the part of the
parents and school personnel can supervise
the implementation of the program.
Improve the nutritional status of the
recipients.
Reduce the number of wasted and severely
wasted pupils in school.
Lesson Learned
School-Based Feeding Program
helps in promoting good health
and nutrition among the schoolaged children. This program also
serves as awareness specially to
the parents on the importance of
having a balanced meal.
Suggestions to strengthen the SBFP
1. Strengthen awareness and
advocacy;
2. Vary the supply to be
distributed so that pupils will
be motivated;
3. Regular supervision of the
program implementation;
4. Conduct school nutrition
convocation
