Reflect with children on their creations and the narrative for them. Choose stories to explore and offer resources that enable children to retell the stories in different ways. Create space - use see/think/wonder routines to explore art and artefacts to consider what the artist might be communicating. Provide a variety of resources for creations with reflections/narratives. Model your own internal voice when playing What age group are you learning with? Schemas are a great way to respond to children’s curiosities and are a great way to facilitate conversation around play and discoveries.
