B. Development of the Lesson:
1. Motivation:
Showing a plain handkerchief.
Ask: What is the shape of this handkerchief? Do you carry your handkerchief everyday? Why? What are the uses of a
handkerchief?
Say: This time we shall learn more about shapes.
2. Presentation;
Let the pupils observe the following objects placed inside a box. Encourage them to say something about the objects.

c. rectangular lunch box
d. square lunch box
Ask: What if Im going to give the measurement of each side of these objects, do you know how to get the total
measurement? How about the formula? How about to measure, what are you going to use?
Say: Class, all of these questions will be answered as we go on with our lesson because our lesson for today is all about
Perimeter.

2. Balik-aral:Pagbabalik aral sa nga bahagi ng pangungusap.
B. Panlinang na Gawain:
1.Pagganyak: Pagpapakita ng larawan ng isang bata na nagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa mga magulang.
Itanong: Ano ang nakikita ninyo sa larawan?
Ano ang kanyang ginagawa?
Anong ugali mayroon ang bata sa larawan?
-Ipabatid sa mga bata ang kahalagahan ng pagmamahal.
2.Paglalahad: Pagpapakita ng ibat-ibang larawan.
-Itatak sa isip ng mga bata na sila ang nasa sitwasyon sa bawat larawan.Hikayatin ang mga
bata na magbigay ng kanilang reaksyon o pangungusap tungkol dito.Isusulat sa pisara ang
kanilang sinabi at babasahin ito ng buong klase.
Sasabihin ng guro:Alam niyo ba na ang mga ito ay mga halimbawa ng mga uri ng pangungusap?Sa pagpapatuloy ng
ating aralin, malalaman natin kung ano-ano ang mga ito.
