Criteria for Enrolment to the Advanced Specialty Training Program To enroll in the Nurses for Advanced Specialty Training program (Reproductive Medicine), the following are requirements need to be met: I. Provide proof of graduation from a recognized Bachelor’s degree in a Nursing program of at least 3 years’ duration. II. Provide proof of current Licensure or Registration to practice as a Registered Nurse III. Provide proof of at least one 2 years of experience IV. Proficient in both written and oral English as a primary means of communication V. Passing tests and interviews approved by the administration VI. Payment of all fees, expenses, and charges specified by the Authority for enrolment in training programs, and any other conditions determined by the administration. Criteria for Enrolment for Nurses with Gap of Practice: As per the regulatory authority criteria, Nurses with a gap in practice must fulfil the following conditions for enrolling in the training program: I. The trainee must be a registered nurse and possess a current, unrestricted nursing license to receive verification. II. The trainee must have at least six months of nursing experience in a clinical care setting before attending the course. III. The trainee is assumed to possesses generic nursing knowledge, has an understanding of clinical care terminology and has familiarity with standard medical equipment’s. IV. The trainee must pass the tests and interviews approved by the administration V. All applicants (Apart from UAE nationals), after completion of CME/CPD credits and clinical training program, are required to pass the Authorities licensure assessment to obtain the license to practice; this does not apply to those whose exams are valid in accordance to the exam validity policy. Should be enrolled in a university accredited by the Ministry of Education (MOE/NQA) in the UAE. II. Proficient in both written and oral English as a primary means of communication III. Passing tests and interviews approved by the administration Documents Required to Apply For the purpose of enrolment in the Nursing training program, the administration must be provided with a copy of the following documents: 1. A valid Passport or Emirates ID card for proof of citizenship. 2. Bachelor’s degree certificate or its equivalent, duly certified. 3. A valid nursing license issued by the relevant health regulatory authority in the UAE. 4. The academic record showing the cumulative average, which must be duly certified. 5. An accredited certificate issued by the competent authorities regarding proficiency in the English language in accordance with the standards approved by the administration. Enrolment Procedures Action Application Application Review Description and Requirement Completed electronic application with all documents. No applications will be accepted after deadline. Application review by Academic Affairs officials at DOH for the purpose of verification of the submitted documents, including educational certificates, nursing license, and proof of citizenship. Interview Shortlisted candidates will be invited to book interview slots through the XYZ online system. Candidates will be contacted via email with instructions, required documentation to be brought to interview and rank order list submission All UAE nationals will be granted an interview in all programs they apply for. Ranking Applicants and program directors must submit rank order lists by this date and time. Any rank order lists not received will automatically remove applicant or program from match.
