Create a story with music and drama
The theme for your music drama is “animal movement”. you are going
to work in a group to create a story with music and drama.
1. In your group of 4, choose an animal that you are going to act out.
2. Choose the song that you are going to sing when you act. The
song can be one that you know, or one you made up. It can have
words or just be music made with a prop. Decide whether you are
going to use musical props or your body to create the rhythm.
3. Decide what props you are going to use in your performance. For
example, if you are pretending to be a rabbit, you might have a
rolled up newspaper that you pretend is your carrot.
4. Practise your presentation.
5. Present your musical drama to the class.
