Body: When the Keboes farmers joined Fairtrade they received a lot of much needed help: a fair price for the fruit that covered the costs of producing it, a more constant demand for the fruit as Fairtrade helps to export it for the European winter; training so that all the workers are better able to carry out their jobs, and various community projects involving schooling, sporting amenities and improved health care. Conclusion: Belonging to Fairtrade has had a very positive impact on the Keboes farms because they practice fair trade which improves the lives of the whole community in many different ways.
