Gabay sa Magulang/Tagapag-alaga
Isinulat ang modyul na ito upang gabayan ang inyong anak na linangin ang kanyang
aspetong pansarili at pakikipagkapwa, akademiko, at karera. Dinisenyo ito para sa distance
learning o alternatibong pamamaraan ng pagkatuto na hindi nangangailangan ng pisikal na
presensya sa paaralan, bilang tugon sa direktiba sa pag-iingat dulot ng pandemyang
COVID-19.
Hinihiling na basahin sa mag-aaral ang bawat bahagi ng modyul at gabayan siya sa
bawat gawain upang matagumpay na maisakatuparan ang mga tagubilin. Siguraduhing
maisagawa at masasagot ang mga gawain at katanungan (Processing Questions).
Gawain 1: Paggabay sa mag-aaral sa mga nakikita at nauunawaan sa larawan.
Gawain 2: Pagtulong sa mag-aaral na mabuo ang mga salita sa crossword puzzle at
maunawaan ang mga ito na ayon sa aralin..
Gawain 3: Pagpapalawak sa mga konsepto kung sakaling hindi ito nauunanawaan ng
mag-aaral.
Gawain 4: Pag-alalay sa mag-aaral na makabuo ng tatlong bookmarks upang maipakita
ang talento, kakayahan at interes.
Gawain 5: Magkaroon ng talakayan sa mag-aaral upang mapakinggan ang kaniyang
talento, kakayahan at interes at mabigyan ng gabay sa paraan kung paano niya
naisagawa ang gawaing ito.
Gawain 6: Paggabay sa mag-aaral sa pagbahagi ng kaniyang naiisip at nararamdaman
sa natutunan sa modyul na ito at maisakatuparan ang gawain.
Hinihiling ng Kagawaran ang inyong supporta upang matagumpay niyang
maisakatuparan ang mga gawaing ito. Ang araling ito ay may layong matulungan ang magaaral na mailahad ang kaniyang talento, kakayahan at interest; at mapalawak ang kaniyang
pagkatuto. Tiyakin na sasagutin niya ang bawat bahagi ng modyul nang tapat hangga't
maaari, kapag siya ay sumasagot sa mga gawain at pagtatasa. Siguraduhing maipapasa
niya ang kanyang sagutang papel sa petsa at oras na itinakda ng kanyang gurongtagapayo.

This module was designed to help you accomplish school activities
using your skills, talents and interests to achieve the best learning and
academic success.
The module has six interactive activities for you to follow, namely:
Let’s Try This – which will help you get ready to learn;
Let’s Explore This – which will guide you towards what you need to learn;
Keep in Mind – which will give you the lessons that you need to learn and
understand;
You Can Do It – which will help you apply the lessons learned in daily
activities;
What I Have Learned – which will test and evaluate your learning;
Share Your Thoughts and Feelings – which will help you express your
thoughts, opinions and feelings.
Make sure to read, think, follow, and enjoy every task that you are
asked to do.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this module, you are expected to:
1. identify your skills, talents and interests helpful to attain your
academic goal;
2. list down different ways in accomplishing assigned tasks, and;
3. demonstrate how skills, talents and interests help in learning.
Period: Week 1-2 of 3rd Quarter
Suggested Total Time Allotment: 120 minutes
Materials Needed:
clean sheets of paper
pencil
crayons
any kind of paper that can be used as bookmark

Introduction
As a child like you, it is good that at this time, you are starting
to know what your skills, talents and interests are. And it is also good
if you use them to help you achieve your academic goals. For
example, you are good at drawing. That skill can help you in your
performance outputs as you express whatever you think and feel
through your drawings.
Another, you can explore different ways in accomplishing your
tasks, just like what you will do in this module. Do not be afraid to
experiment or fail. Even if it sometimes happen, you can still learn
from it and try to do better next time. With the help of significant
adults at home, you can become more confident in in in
demonstrating your skills and later on appreciate how it helps you
learn.

Suggested Time Allotment: 30 minutes
Read and think. Try to apply lessons learned in your daily life.
They say that every person is unique. The reason why we are
unique is because we differ in skills, talents, and interests. It is more
fun to learn new things for us to easily accomplish our daily tasks.
The advantages of recognizing your own skills, talents and interests
are as follow:
1. It helps you maintain your self-confidence.
2. It keeps you motivated to work on your school tasks that you do
at home because of quarantine.
3. It helps you get to know yourself better.
4. It makes you healthy physically and mentally.
5. It helps you achieve academic success.

You Can Do It
Suggested Time Allotment: 20 minutes
A bookmark is used to mark one page of a book. Using any kind
of paper, create three (3) bookmarks:
For bookmark #1 - write your talent;
For bookmark #2 - write your skill;
For bookmark #3 - write your interest.;
These will serve as your reminder that you can attain academic
success as a learner even at the middle of a crisis.
A sample picture below is provided for you to follow. Then,
answer the processing questions in another clean sheet of paper.

Now that you are familiar with your skills, talents and interests,
share it with one of your household members. Then in a clean sheet
of paper, write down the things that you do to accomplish this task.
Example: “I sang a song to my Mother.”

Suggested Time Allotment: 20 minutes
Copy this train in a clean sheet of paper, write down your
thoughts and feelings about improving your skills, talents and
interests for each compartment. Color the train and make the best
design.
