ABSTRACT:
This project examines significant global challenges faced by
computer science engineers in Pakistan. It explores strategic
solutions to address these challenges and focuses on
empowering graduate students through tailored strategies
and educational support. It also seeks to enhance students'
knowledge, build confidence to engage with professionals from
prominent companies, foster self-belief, and develop excellent
communication skills for effective idea-sharing. Ultimately,
the project aims to contribute to a resilient and successful
workforce in the dynamic field of technology.

PREFACE:
This report on “GLOBAL CHALLENGES FOR COMPUTER
SCIENCE
ENGINEERS
IN
PAKISTAN:
EMPOWERING
GRADUATE SUCCESS” is authored by Sidra (SP23-BSCS0074), Javeria (SP23-BSCS-0092), and Tayyaba Ali (SP23BSCS-0095), of 2nd-semester Computer Science students at
MAJU (Mohammad Ali Jinnah University).
Guided by Miss Qudsia Bano, this final project represents our
academic
exploration
into
our
course
of
“oral
communication”. Gratitude is extended to Miss Qudsia Bano
for her valuable mentorship throughout this endeavor.

CORE:
This group project, assigned within the framework of our Oral
Communication course, involved conducting interviews with
IT professionals aligned with our respective dream jobs. The
aim was to gain valuable insights into the industry and
enhance our communication skills through engaging with
professionals from different organizational backgrounds.
Three distinct interviews were conducted with professionals
holding key positions in diverse organizations.

CHALLENGES EXPLORED:
The
challenges
explored
encompass
rapidly
evolving:
technologies, shifting industry demands, opportunities and
number of graduates, skill gaps, less practical practices,
lacking of updated trends and the necessity for continuous
skill advancement. Additionally, the report delves into the
hurdles faced by graduate students entering the professional
arena.
