Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed faculty, parents, friends, and students, it is with great pleasure and honor that I stand before you to introduce our distinguished guest speaker for our Senior High School Ball. This speaker I am referring to is a man with an astounding personality, magnified through ripples of opportunities in life. Let’s talk about his education, first. His learning journey is marked by his commitment to schooling and academic quality, graduating from Curva Elementary School when he was in his 6th grade and at (name of school) when he had his secondary level. He continued his pursuit of knowledge at the University of the Philippines-Baguio City, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with his major- Social Anthropology and minor-Philosophy in the year 2012. Howbeit, his thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. He delved into the complexities, earning six units in his Master of Asian Studies at the University of the Philippines Open University year 2016, and embraced the challenging path of legal studies, earning ten units in the Bachelor of Law at Saint Louis University year 2015. Furthermore, he equipped himself with the necessary teaching credentials, completing 18 units of Certificate in Teaching Secondary level with his specialization in social science at Easter College. This man’s academic pursuits and dedication to excellence have taken him to renowned institutions worldwide as well. He actively participated in the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations at Harvard University and in the International Research Forum on the Philippines at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, where he not only participated but also presented his pride as an Ilocano and a Filipino at the same time. In addition to his professional achievements, our guest speaker is actively engaged in various activities and outreach programs, showcasing his leadership qualities. He led the "Uray Sikami" Donation Drive for Flood Victims in Cagayan Valley last November 2020 to February 2021 and actively involved himself in the "Education for Citizenship: Understanding the Twin Concept of Autonomy and Federalism in the Philippines." This personage is a living testament of shared blessings. His role as a faculty member at Saint Louis University from 2013 to 2021, as a Lecturer and Reviewer from 2017 to 2021 at Colledge Review Center, and as a Language and Cultural Facilitator with the US Peace Corps from June to September 2018, underscores his passion for shaping the minds of the next generation. Concerning all of these, he answered the calling of the Pamplonenos for a yes-nayes leader who could empower others too. This is why without a doubt, he started reaching out and loving the people. Currently, he is serving as a Sangguniang Bayan member of our hometown, rendering a true, committed, and commendable leadership. Certainly, this speaker I am welcoming up on stage, will effectively communicate to us, especially to our star students that this SHS ball is a stepping stone to their future endeavors and a symbolic transition of their academic journey and personal growth. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in extending a warm welcome to a distinguished individual, whose vast experiences and insights are sure to inspire and resonate with us tonight…. the one and only, Honorable Bryan Yague Delos Reyes!
