The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Free Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good credit standing only. The promo is not applicable to Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid Cards. 2. Promo and registration period is from December 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024 only. Redemption period is from December 26, 2023 to March 31, 2024 only. 3. Cardholders who reach the minimum spend requirement and criteria as specified below shall be qualified for the instant eGift Certificate (eGC) or GCash credits and a raffle entry. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank’s database and is required to register for the promo. Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period or after successful registration, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 and to request for manual registration to the promo. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period. 5. The principal cardholder must register for the promo by visiting the registration page found in the Metrobank website from December 1 to January 31, 2024 and entering his/her Metrobank-registered mobile number. An SMS confirming successful registration will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for the promo. The time of the successful registration shall be based on the time the notification SMS was received by the principal cardholder. 6. As a reminder, the registration page will only ask for the cardholder’s mobile number and the verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for the card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP or other card details via links or web pages found in e-mail, SMS or phone calls. 7. Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s. 8. By completing the registration, the cardholder agrees that his/her personal data shall be shared to Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway, and shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Giftaway. 9. A visual transaction and incentive tracker (mbcpc.co/redeem) where all qualified and posted transactions/s, instant eGC or GCash credit token codes, and raffle entries will be available to registered cardholders starting December 26, 2023. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker once set up in the Giftaway portal. Prior transactions will be shown upon the tracker set-up date, while transactions made subsequent to the tracker set-up date will be reflected within seven(7) banking days after the qualified transaction has been made. 10. A principal cardholder is entitled to up to ten (10) instant eGCs or GCash credit token codes for the duration of the promo period per unique Metrobank customer. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the incentive computation that the principal cardholder may be entitled to. 11. The computation of the required spend and eGC or GCash credits token codes entitlement will be based on a customer level. 12. Token codes and raffle entries will be posted on the visual tracker within seven (7) banking days once a qualified transaction has been made. Token codes and raffle entries earned prior to the set-up date of the tracker shall be reflected once the tracker is live. Successfully registered principal cardholders will also receive instructions to visit the Metrobank website to redeem their earned token codes. Redemption of codes is until March 31, 2024 only. 13. All unredeemed codes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholders to extend the validity of the token codes once the redemption period has passed. 14. Cardholders can redeem the Giftaway Universal eGCs or GCash credits tokens starting December 26, 2023 at Giftaway partners such as, but not limited to, The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, Lazada, and more. Applicable delivery and other processing service fees from the stores where the eGC/s will be used are not included in the eGC and shall be shouldered by the cardholder. 15. A P15 transfer fee for e-wallet redemption shall apply on a per redemption basis. Transfer fees will be shouldered and charged to the recipient. 16. Deadline for earning of raffle entries is on 11:59 p.m., January 31, 2024. The time stamp on Metrobank’s platform will be the basis for the timing of the qualified transactions. 17. Raffle entries earned within the promo period will be electronically generated and will automatically be included in the raffle draw. There is no cap for the amount of raffle entries a cardholder can earn. 18. The electronic raffle draw will take place on February 13, 2024 and will virtually be held in the presence of representatives from DTI and Metrobank. 19. Qualified cardholders may only win once for the raffle. 20. Winners of the raffle draw will be officially informed via registered mail, e-mail and/or call-out by Metrobank. 21. Employees of Metrobank and Giftaway including relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity are disqualified to join the raffle. 27. “Qualified Transactions” for the instant eGift certificate (eGCs) or GCash credits include all retail straight transactions such as purchases at groceries, department stores, gasoline stations, restaurants, Internet, and Mail Order/Telephone Order and foreign currency transactions, subject to the minimum spend criteria set above. PayNow shall be excluded for the instant eGC or Gcash credits. 28. “Qualified Transactions” for the raffle include all retail straight transactions such as purchases at groceries, department stores, gasoline stations, restaurants, Internet, and Mail Order/Telephone Order, foreign currency transactions, as well as PayNow (except for money transfers to a cardholder’s own account), Bills2Pay (new enrollments only), Cash Advance, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion and Cash2Go transactions, subject to the minimum spend and transaction criteria set above. 29. “Non-qualified Transactions” for the instant eGift certificates (eGcs) or GCash credits include all merchant installment transactions, , mobile payments / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay), 6010, 6011 and 6012 found in Metrobank’s database, as well as PayNow, Bills2Pay, Cash Advance, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion and Cash2Go transactions. 30. “Non-qualified Transactions” for the raffle include all merchant installment transactions, mobile payments / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay), found in Metrobank’s database, as well as existing Bills2Pay enrollments and amortizations of previous Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion and Cash2Go transactions. 31. Standard terms and conditions set for PayNow, Bills2Pay, Cash2Go, Balance Transfer, Cash Advance and Balance Conversion transactions shall apply whenever applicable. 32. The promo may not be availed in conjunction with other ongoing promos, unless otherwise stated. 33. All disputes will only be accepted until sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period or not later than March 31, 2024. 34. Metrobank will not accommodate cardholders’ request to be rewarded for transactions made without registration due to lack of awareness for the promo. 35. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the eGC or GCash credits token codes. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of any promo shall not be a valid reason for nonpayment by the cardholder of his/her credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account. 36. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account. 37. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI. 38. All terms and conditions relating to the use of regi stration, redemption portal, Universal Giftaway eGCs indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply. 39. The use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards. 40.
