1 - Floating
Issues :
• Dependency on vendor(s) for capacity estimation, proposed layout, and floating structure costing.
• Lengthy timeline and complexity of the estimation process (for vendor dependent inputs).
Mitigation :
• Develop in-house capability for capacity estimation and layout preparation
• Develop in-house capability to estimate tentative cost (final costing shall be vendor dependent only).
• Develop cost matrix on the basis of reservoir type, average water level, reservoir depth, and proposed
capacity.
2 - Pre-Fabricated Building
(PFB)
Issues :
• Significant Cost, Manpower and Construction time required to construct RCC MCR building.
• End to end timeline for RCC building construction may go up to 90 days (without design timeline).
Mitigation :
• Pre-fabricated building (PFB) for MCR/ICR.
• Costs less than 50% as compared to RCC building.
• End to end timeline for PFB construction shall be less than 60 days (without design timeline)

3 - Transmission
Issues
Line :
• Complete Transmission Line work done by the EPC vendors.
• Design and Material Solution are vendor dependent.
• They do not offer custom solution for short transmission lines.
• High timeline in streamlining all the vendor activities.
Mitigation :
• Initially, develop vendor base such that they offer customized solution for our requirement.
• Develop in-house capability in the long run.
• Develop vendors who have offerings for our proposed in-house solutions.
4 - Long Lead Items RFQ.
Issues :
• The complete delivery timeline of long lead items to site is
critical activity considering short commissioning period of SPV
plants.
• Usual bottleneck for every project.
Mitigation :
• Tentative RFQs shall be released at the initiation.
• We are planning to release before LOI/PPA confirmation with
available inputs, provided we get a nod from BD (2 week
advance)
