What are Cyber-Physical Systems?
Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs) involve “the tight conjoining of and coordination between
computational and physical resources” [Helen Gill, U.S. National Science Foundation]
“Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are physical and engineered systems whose operations are
monitored, coordinated, controlled and integrated by a computing and communication
core.” Raj Rajkumar et al., 2010, “Cyber-Physical Systems: The Next Computing
Revolution”
“Orchestrating networked computational resources and physical systems.” Edward Lee,
2013, invited talk: “Cyber-Physical Systems: A Fundamental Intellectual Challenge”

Project Outline
1 Person/Group,
We start to build your own low cost robots
by using Arduino. We must have “encoder”
to locate itself.
We build several differential drive robots.
After we have it, we apply the multi-agent
robot controls, reinforcement learning, etc.
Bonus point if you submit a paper;
Korean paper x 1.5, SCIE x 2
Example: Low-cost robots AlphaBot2
(https://www.eleparts.co.kr/goods/view?no=4238880),
Turtle Kit (https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1225.html)
