BRIGADA NARRATIVE
Brigada Eskwela is a vital part of the start of a school year. In the opening of
Brigada Eskwela 2020-2021 we informed the parents to watch and share the live stream
in Facebook, since we are not allowed to conduct an actual brigada because of the
COVID-19 pandemic.
In the first day of our brigada we conducted a live stream about brigada eskwela.
In the said live stream also included some information about COVID-19.
The second day is the voluntary cleaning of classrooms. Some parents and also
the teachers took part in the activity.
In the third day Alumni’s and SK Chairman went to school to give donations for the
school as well as the teachers. The donations are used to the other brigada eskwela
activities in the following days.
The repainting and repairing of chairs is conducted on the fourth day of the brigada.
We also repaired other school materials such as cabinets, doors and windows. The
teachers and some parents helped in the activity to ensure a clean and neat looking
classrooms.
The fifth day activities included putting of signage’s in each post for the social
distancing reminder. Thus putting arrows in every area of the rooms and hallways so that
the parents are able to follow it when they are about to get the modules of their child.
We short closing program was conducted on the last day of the brigada eskwela.
We also finished cleaning the rooms and put hand wash/sanitizers and instructions in
each rooms.
