Painting is an image (artwork) created using pigments (color) on a surface (ground) such as paper or canvas. The pigment may be in a wet form, such as paint, or a dry form, such as pastels. Painting can also be a verb, the action of creating such an artwork. 2. How do you perceive colors? I perceive colors through forming it in our brain by the superposition of the neural signals from three different kinds of photoceptors which are distributed over the human eye’s retina. 3. How do these colors give life to a certain artwork? Colors give life to a certain artwork by making it colorful. Not just a colorful but give meaning to the subject that you meant on your artwork. 4. Based on the activity, what color properties does it shows? Color originates from a light source, that is either view directly or as reflected light. Daylight or white light contains light waves for all colors. There is no color without light! The absence of light is complete darkness or black. The mixture of all visible light is white light. White light is made up of all the colors in the rainbow. Water droplets in the air act like a prism does when light passes through. It organizes random color light waves into the order of their wave length. We see that organized pattern as a rainbow. Colors has three properties: hue, value, and intensity. If these elements are not present in an artwork it could be unaesthetically not convincedly. People will see at merely as nothing not conspicuous, viewers be might think that it just an art for nothing. It would be boring for everyone to give an attention and appreciate it. 2. If you were a painter, what type of painting you would emphasize in your artwork? For me if I were a painter, the type of painting I would emphasize in my artwork is expressionism, because it is easy for you to express and make an artwork if you have an experience that you want to express and deliver the message that you want to say to everyone. For they would understand and relate their selves to your artwork and appreciate it at the same time 3. Based on your own perspective, what is painting? Based on my own perspective, painting is an artistic production which is you’ll make arts and the way for you to show everything you want to express according to your experiences, ideas, and opinions by using colors that would be aesthetically attractive. 4. Today I learned On what I have learned, painting is one of the classic artworks that you are allowed to emancipate and express your emotions and everything you want to show and bring up on your artwork. I thought painting is just nothing and not really essential but I’ve realized that painting is one of the significant artworks that you can freely show the way what you feel and express everything. It’s not just the color of attention but the color of art appreciation which you can use in the subjective parts that you want to deliver and mean. Through painting, this is one of the artworks that a lot of people used as strategy, for they can show their emotions inside. Many people meant to express something that we ourselves unable to convey, but through painting, is one of the artworks that a lot people can empathize and relate to the situation we faced in reality on a personal level. Painting such as one of artworks I’ve really admired of and I’ll try to apply on me myself how painting is essential as an art.
