LIVE I Sunday Service - In The Daze Of Deception - Part 2 10:30 AM, 8/20/2023 Calvary Chapel Chino Hills In The Daze Of Deception – Part 2 Isaiah 46:9-10 A BIBLICAL LOOK AT RECENT EVENTS AROUND THE GLOBE AND HOW THEY RELATE TO BIBLICAL ESCHATOLOGY AND HOW WE SHOULD LIVE IN LIGHT OF INCREASED DECEPTION In The Daze Of Deception 1.) What does every Christ-Follower know for sure? The very fact that you’re holding a Bible in your hand right now is witness that there is an information source that is outside and not of our world or domain. For thousands of years - the Bible has proven itself to be a communication system / device that has been 100% accurate at recording what (#1) did happen in history past and (#2) what is happening in these current events of our time and (#3) what the future holds – this is the reliability and predictability of the Bible. The Bible is; information of a non-human nature, from a non-human source that will become more and more relevant to mankind as we approach what the Bible calls the Last Days. Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,’ again… 2 Peter 1:19-21 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. and again… 2 Timothy 3:16a All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and again… Revelation 1:12-19 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; 16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. 17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. 19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. The giving or revelation of God’s word to mankind is so serious - that the Bible warns... Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life. (to tamper with the Bible is a fatal mistake – because it leads to deception) All that to say, last week we addressed the fact that several weeks ago – The United States Government opened up a Congressional investigation regarding the mounting claims by US military pilots and the US Navy (USS Nimitz / USS Princeton – that there has been a dramatic increase in (UAP’s) Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. Since last week’s message – other whistleblowers have come forward from the United States Air Force as well as the United States Space Force - - saying that they have witnessed, tracked and recorded “Unknown Nonphysical Phenomenon Possessing Unnatural Flight Characteristics.” - now termed “Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon” taking place in and around the United States as well as an increase in sightings or claims worldwide by International Military personnel predominantly from England and Russia. Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle (war) against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. this “pulling down of strongholds” is something that very few of us can stomach – you will not want this to be true – but it is true nonetheless and I thank God it is true… 2 Timothy 4:3-4a For the time will come when (1) they will not endure sound doctrine. The “they” here are those who will refuse to believe in and hold on to what God has said and decide to untie themselves from the truth and drift toward the false… So the terrifying thing about the false in the last days is how real it will look and feel, so much so… 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in Latter Times (End of Days) some will depart (give up or transfer) from the faith, (transfer to the) giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. Deceiving Spirits have always plagued man since the beginning. Doctrines of Demons have always sought to twist the plan of God your salvation / redemption. These are ancient pagan demonic powers, non-human entities. Literal living creatures that fell from the presence of God in eternity. Labor Day is Near! Labor Day is Near! because Hobby Lobby is Decorating for Christmas Luke 21:28 “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” In The Daze Of Deception 2.) What has the world observed in times past? Luke 17:22-30 Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 And they will say to you, “Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them. 24 For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) is revealed. To Understand Where We Are Going – We must First find out where things started. < is there a connect between the past and the future > Job 38:3-7 Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? The sons of God (the B’nai HaElohim) = the angels of God. But Then Something Went Terribly Wrong Isaiah 14:9-15 “Hell from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming; it stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 10 They all shall speak and say to you: “Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us? 11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, and the sound of your stringed instruments; the maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you.’ 12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. In Conjunction with Isaiah 14 Ezekiel 28:13-15 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. 14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until iniquity was found in you. Now - Consider the Chronology Genesis 6:1-4 Now it came to pass, when men (descendants of adam), began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, :2 that the sons of God (B’nai HaElohim) saw (raah to stare, gaze, to follow) the daughters of men (adam), that they were beautiful; (tob – exciting / arousing) and they took (laqach = carried away, caught, seized upon) wives (ashiym, naw-sheem´; a woman forced into being an adulteress), for themselves of all whom they chose took, came upon, steal), 3 And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also (giants) afterward, when (again) the sons of God (B’nai HaElohim) came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them (B’nai HaElohim). Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. The etymology of the name Nephilim is Hebrew which means, “The Fallen Ones” They are known in the Bible as The Repha’im, The Nephil’im, The Arba, The Zuz’im, The Karna’im, The Em’im, The Anak’im, ( all of them mean some form of giant-man and with natural anomalies. for extra credit read genesis 14 ) Emim in Hebrew “The Terrors” or “Terrorizers” A description based upon their powers, size and looks. Now - Consider God’s Response to Such a Sin Deuteronomy 2:10-12 The Emim had dwelt there in times past, a people as great and as numerous and as tall as the Anakim. 11 They were also regarded as giants, like the Anakim, but the Moabites call them Emim. 12 The Horites formerly dwelt in Seir, but the descendants of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their place, just as Israel did to the land of their possession (promised land) which the LORD gave them. Regarding the Future (35 ad.) Jesus Said… Luke 17:26 And as it was (satanic paganism) in the days of Noah, so it will be (satanic paganism) also in the days of the Son of Man: Jude 1:5-7 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. We know that Noah is commended for being “perfect” in his generation. The word perfect doesn’t mean sinless or very good it means untainted, unmolested, unpolluted, it suggests that Noah and his DNA, bloodline was intact. Genesis 6:9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. Five incredibly radical words that mean - Noah was different from all other people on earth - perfect heb: ta’mim physically sound, physically complete, physically intact, untainted, unblemished, without defect. “But why would such a Freaky-Blockbuster-Hollywood-Kinda Thing happen for Realzees?” Because of one single – seemingly little prophetic promise in the Bible Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Jesus Promised that the last days will be just like it was in the days of Noah just before judgement fell and the flood came. (we have failed both as students of history as well as students of the Bible to know in-depth the world that was.) So then - Was Jesus telling us the Truth about the Last Days or not ? In The Daze Of Deception 3.) What is the world observing at present? According to the Bible: Man’s Last Attempt to Govern Himself & Others is Coming. A New World Order is in the Making. For you and I – we can never understand what the Bible teaches about the future unless you read the Bible in its totality and its full counsel. The world governing empires from start to finish. Daniel 2:40-43 And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others 41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43a. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; We are entering the days of incredible deception. We are looking at the times in the seasons in which evil is being called good and good is being called evil; light is being called dark and dark is being called light To put it more bluntly, boys are being called girls, girls are being called boys, men are being called women, women are being called men, God is being called an alien, aliens are being called gods. What’s With the Spontaneous and Unexplainable Train of Logic that has become self-destructive to Man (Mr. and Mrs. Mankind) – Created in the Image of God? 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. I’m anticipating Christ’s return for His church at any time.
