BIG NIGHT OUT
Read the things that people loved or loathed about their night at a concert.
Correct the common idioms in each sentence. Two of the sentences are correct.
1 The tickets may have cost a leg and an arm, but it was worth it.
2 That last song really took the breath away. What an amazing voice!
3 I was astonished to see Elina there. I guess you can’t judge a book by its cover.
4 It drives me on the wall when people leave their seats in the middle of a song.
5 I was over the stars to get tickets for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint me.
6 It was such a pain when other fans kept screaming. It wasn’t them I paid to hear!
7 The dancers were excellent. They made their routines look like a piece of bread!
8 The whole concert was out of the world. It was absolutely fantastic!
