1. How long have you been trading?
I’ve been trading for a year now, mostly on paper. I’ve failed two evaluations and
have been back to paper trading until I’m consistently profitable. I’m not ready yet to use
real funds.
2. How would you rate your Technical Analysis Skills and ability to identify
profitable setups?
My current technical analysis skills as well as ability to identify profitable setups is
increasing. Right now, I’m currently following the modern zen model with ZERO
changes, alterations or differences. Out of ten, I’d give it a six out of ten. I’m getting
better but know I have a lot of work to increasingly do. I’m getting it done.
3. How are your execution skills and risk management? Do you have strict
guidelines to follow everyday?
My execution to follow the zen model as well as risk management is now a lot
better with the zen model. I only purchase limits on or within one tick of 1M200 EMA or
VWAP. I look for relatively high confluence zen models. Looking for price pullbacks to go
with the current move, or reversals with high confluence. I do have strict guidelines to
follow everyday. I only take the zen model setups currently, and if I miss a move, I miss
a move. So be it. Another move will come.
4. Do you have a trading playbook and/or what are the setups you currently take?
I do have a trading playbook. I have a personal discord where I post ALL of my
trades, what I was thinking, what happened and why it worked/didn’t work. I’m
exclusively taking the zen model setup and it’s increasingly been working better for me.
Taking five or more paper trades to get a better grasp on when to take zen trades, as
well as what makes the zen trades better.
5. How would you rate your trading psychology? Do you get anxious or nervous
while trading or are you able to stay calm and reserved?
My trading psychology out of ten now is likely a six as well. When I’m in a trade
on Micro E-Mini S&P500 Index Futures, I don’t touch it unless it goes up two points.
When it goes up two points, I drag my stoploss to usually two ticks above my entry. I do
get anxious, nervous as well as worried during a trade however it now longer changes
my behavior. My reduction of these negative feelings will come with the reps of taking
plenty more zen trades.
6. How would you rate your health and wellness? Do you workout consistently?
Do you practice eating habits?
My health and wellness out of ten would be a seven. I workout at least four days a
week, and do practice relatively eating habits.
7. Health and wellness continued: How would you rate your mental wellness? Do
you practice mindfulness, meditate, and maintain stress levels?
My mental wellness out of ten would very likely be a seven out of ten. I’m very mindful
of what I’m thinking about, do NOT meditate, and do maintain relatively healthy stress
levels. I am aware of how to improve my mental health, and am continuously working to
do so.
8. Health & Wellness continued: How many hours do you sleep at night on
average?
I sleep an average of seven point five hours per night on average.
9. How many hours a week are you willing to dedicate to learning and improving
as a trader?
I am and do dedicate at least thirty hours a week to learning and improving as a trader.
ICT’s 2022 membership, forward testing zen model, getting it done.
10. Do you have any other comments, questions, or concerns?
Thank you so much gentlemen for the continual help you guys provide to us. Me
becoming a profitable trader is going to happen because I’m making it happen. I’m
getting it done. You guys gave me a great model, how to get better, why get better, are
fun to speak to and make this shit look easy as fuck. Thank you.
